Visa/Permits

Argentinian border stamp

After spending three days in Santiago and visiting Easter Island for one week, I embarked on a night long distance bus to Buenos Aires. During a journey I admired the spectacular scenery and  thrilled with the bendy and steep roads.

Border control was relatively a smooth and organised process. We get off the bus carrying only hand bags. Our checked in luggage was moved from the bus compartments to security check room while we were queuing up for passport/permit control. Border crossing is at 4000m altitude so dress warmly when outside.
